LTDC ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

Taupo economic development, under the umbrella of The Lake Taupo Development organisation, has a number of key components, all with distinct functions.

Lake Taupo Development Trust 

Collects, invests and distributes funds. Provides the Lake Taupo Development Company with its operational funding requirements. 

Lake Taupo Development Company 

Identifies and assesses projects and growth issues. 

Lake Taupo Development Company Directors 

Appointed by the trustees as working directors. They have a range of skills to assist with economic and business development. Skills include legal, financial, governance, strategic planning, marketing, engineering and general business management. The directors participate in project development and assessment. 

Trading Trusts 

These are projects that are assessed as commercially viable and established as trading entities. These trading entities offer investors and entrepreneurs an opportunity to partner with the community in investments in the district.
