In the business advisory area of our business we deliver BIZ Business information for Taupo and surrounding districts, providing advice on a wide range of topics such as e-business, tax, employing staff, exporting, finance, marketing, mentoring and New Zealand business regulations.

In the training area we are the providers of the NZTE Enterprise Training Programme in Taupo and Turangi. This involves working with owners or managers of small to medium businesses. The FREE enterprise training programme is designed to support all business related needs. You need to complete a registration form and from there, a meeting with a local Business Advisor is set up and training needs identified. Clients who have completed the registration process are then entitled to attend any of the FREE enterprise training workshops held during the year, and through attendance, qualify for free follow up coaching.

SME Relief Package

The New Zealand government has recently acknowledged the importance of SMEs within New Zealand with the SME Relief Package, announced on the 4th February. The package aims at helping businesses in these tough economic times.

The package outlines an expansion of business advice services, and our biz service now includes an extended 0800 service (0800 49 49 46). A free health check is available through www.bizhealth.co.nz

NZ Busines Assessment

The New Zealand Business Assessment has been designed to help you assess your business’ current capabilities. The Core Capability Questionnaire asks a series of questions about your business ranging from general products and services information to financial and corporate organisational data. While only the questions marked with an * are manadatory, the more quality information you provide, the better the quality of feedback you will get from your Advisors. A unique feature of the Business Assessment is that no one can view this information unless you specifically give them access to do so.
